PERSONALISING YOUR ORDER

Each piece of Aimos Jewellery is handmade to order. If you would like your ordered personalised with engraving please get in touch via the ‘contact’ page and we can discuss further. If you would like your order to be made in solid gold rather then gold plated silver please email via the 'contact' page for a quote. This may delay your order slightly so please let us know if your order is urgent. 

GOLD PLATING

Gold plated items are made using a 925 sterling silver base metal with 3 microns of gold plate on top. Please be aware that plating does not last forever. However if you follow a few simple steps you will get the most wear out of your gold plated pieces. At Aimos we offer a re-plating and re-polishing service of all of our pieces for a £30 charge per item. Please get in touch via the ‘contact’ page for more details. 

Care of plated products:

  1. Use a soft polishing cloth to brighten and clean your jewellery. Other chemicals can be harmful to the metal and gold plate.

  2. Do not let your jewellery come into contact with any harsh chemicals i.e. bleach.

  3. Avoid wearing plated jewellery whilst doing manual tasks. Any deep scratches will reveal the silver base metal underneath.

RESIZING POLICY

When purchasing rings please make sure that you have selected the correct size. If you are unsure of the size you need we have ring-sizers available to purchase (see link)

Otherwise we recommend asking for your measurement in your local jewellery shop.

A standard resize is £30 plus postage. If the resize is going up or down by quite a few sizes this may cost more with the extra metal required or difficulty of the job.

RETURNS 

We hope you will be delighted with your Aimos purchase. However if you are not entirely satisfied you may return it to us within 14 working days of receiving your order. In order to be eligible for a full refund we ask that the item is returned in the same condition as you received it and in its original packaging with proof of purchase or receipt.

Once we have received your returned item we will be in touch via email to arrange your refund. Please email info@aimos.co.uk for any further queries regarding your return.

Generally we will not approve exchanges or refunds for bespoke, custom and personalised pieces of jewellery. However, we can offer a resize / alteration service at a fee. 

Unfortunately we are unable to accept the return of earrings in accordance with the UK Health and Hygiene Regulations.

Please note that postal costs for returned items are the customers responsibility. It is also the responsibility of the customer that all items are returned to us safely and in good condition. We recommend a tracked postal service for this.
